Who is responsible
Jungle Clever Comt Ltd is responsible for personal information it processes in operating this website and responding to correspondence. Write to [email protected] or to the registered office shown in the footer for privacy questions.
Website access and technical information
Delivering web pages involves processing connection information such as your IP address, requested resource, browser information and request time. Hosting and security services may record technical logs for delivery, troubleshooting and prevention of abuse. Where personal data is involved, our basis is the legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, functioning website, subject to applicable law.
The supplied website code contains no advertising trackers, analytics services, external fonts or third-party image requests. Following an external reference takes you to another organisation’s website, where its own privacy practices apply.
The field-note tool
Text entered into the contact page is processed in your browser to generate a preview. The tool does not submit it to us and does not save the draft in local storage. Copying writes the prepared text to your clipboard with your browser’s permission. Downloading creates a local text file. Your browser or device may have its own form-restoration or backup features, which we do not control.
Do not include exact sensitive-species locations, access credentials, confidential operations or unnecessary personal data. If you choose to send an email separately, that is no longer a local-only activity.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your address, message and any information you provide. We use this to respond, consider corrections and manage legitimate enquiries. Our usual basis is legitimate interests; legal obligations may also require processing in specific cases. Avoid sending attachments containing identifiable people or restricted ecological records.
We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, relevant follow-up and any applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the purpose and context rather than an indefinite default.
Browser preferences
The cookie preferences page can store your choice and an update timestamp in local storage on your device. It is not a field-note archive and is not sent by this site’s scripts. You can change the choice on the preferences page or clear it through your browser settings.
Service providers and transfers
Hosting and email providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. We do not sell personal information. Where a provider processes personal data outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer rules and safeguards must be considered. No website can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to legitimate-interest processing, and exercise portability where applicable. Consent can be withdrawn where it is the relevant basis. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
Contact us first if you have concerns. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant supervisory authority. This notice may be updated when the site’s processing changes; the effective date identifies the version.
